Religious Education

CCD

CCD is currently in session. CCD is open to all students from 1st to 12th grade. Please bring a copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate and registration fee to the parish office.

Cost: $50 per child, $100 for 2 or more siblings.

OCIA

Anyone who has not been baptized by age seven may register for OCIA. Upon completion, OCIA candidates will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, and confirmation on Holy Saturday. Registration will open in August 2026. Please call the office for more information.

Adult Confirmation

Adult Confirmation classes are currently in session.

Registration is open to any baptized adult who has not received First Communion or Confirmation. Please call the office for more information.

Sacraments

Baptism

Infant Baptism is celebrated once a month. Parents must provide a copy of the child’s legal state birth certificate. Parents and Godparents must attend two preparation classes ($75), and sponsors must meet all canon law requirements.

First Communion

Children in second grade and older may attend CCD to receive First Communion. See more information on religious education below.

Confirmation

We offer Confirmation classes for both teens & adults. Please visit our Religious Education page below for more information.

Marriage

To get married at St. Leo the Great, please call the office to set up your first meeting with Father Antonio at least six months in advance of your desired wedding date.

Reconciliation

Confession is every Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and on Merciful Friday - the first Friday of every month from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Anointing of the Sick

If you or a loved one need to be anointed, call the parish office at (210) 533-7334. We also have mass with anointing of the sick on the first Saturday of the month at 7 a.m. in English and 8 a.m. in Spanish.
